Woody Harrelson, the energetic 35-year-old actor, got his start on the long-running sitcom - Cheers. After his TV stint he made many successful movies including White Men Can't Jump, Indecent Exposure, Natural Born Killers, The People Vs Larry Flint and many more.
Woody calls himself "whacky" and he's proud of it. As you know, he seems to always be in the center of the news as an activist for many of his causes - mostly environmental issues. In 1995, he sent in his income tax forms, but withheld enclosing money due. He attached the tax forms to a letter addressed to the IRS that aired his grievances with the government's disregard for the environment in its spending policies and legislation.
One of his big fights is to convince the state of Kentucky to change laws that do not reflect differences between Industrial Hemp and Marijuana. Woody strongly believes that more hemp should be used in making paper and clothing products. Kentucky's laws do not differentiate between the two... both are illegal.
As in Cheers, Woody is now back behind the bar. This time he's serving up energizing doses of Oxygen, as well as herbalelixirs at his new O2 - the super-oxyherbar. O2's organic menu features foods that includes raw food dishes, pizzas made of dehydrated nut crust and soups - using fresh produce from Yoganics. It is interesting that the bartenders, food servers and hosts are all knowledgeable in nutrition. The O2 bar located on Hollywood's Sunset Strip, features entertainment like "transhyphonic vibes" and Jazz.
It seems that actors love to be in the restaurant business. Oxygen bars are the newest rage in the bar business. Woody's is as "whacky" as he is…and, without a doubt, it will be successful. He's another celebrity in business.
